Does anyone know where I can re-download Warzone 2100 3.1.5 in 'Portable Apps' PAF format? Also, is there a location where I can download other versions (including older ones) of Warzone 2100?

Possible Trojan Detected in AIMP

Hello
My company monitors and scans everything and I mean everything. It has flagged the download at http://download3.portableapps.com/portableapps/aimpportable/AIMPPortable... as being a trogan. At the current time I don't have any other way to confirm it. Can anyone else check it out?

Sometimes they get things wrong, but more times then not they are right on.

Infra Recorder on w10?

What ever I try, Infra Recorder does not work on w10.
No problems on lower versions, even XP works.

Laucher.ini problem in TheGuidePortable

there is some errors in Laucher.ini in TheGuidePortable.the ini file has few lines of FileWrite to replace config item in %PAL:DataDir%\settings\guide.ini,like this
;[FileWrite1]
;Type=Replace
;File=%PAL:DataDir%\settings\guide.ini
;Find=%PAL:LastDrive%%PAL:LastPackagePartialDir%\
;Replace=%PAL:Drive%%PAL:PackagePartialDir%\

but with this ,the guide.ini file become erroable,the last item become
[Recent File List]
File1=PAL:PortableAppsBaseDir\PortableApps\TheGuidePortable\Data\theguide.gde

so,if TheGuide set to load last document, when it starts,it always say the gde file invalid.

after delete or comment the FileWrite# block in laucher.ini,always works fine.

Apps settings saved locally

I'm running Windows 7 Home Edition, 64 bit. I installed PortableApps on a USB drive. I'm running Microsoft Security essentials with windows firewall.
I noticed apps save settings to the local machine instead of the external drive.
This goes for *each* app I installed.

Opera auto updates

Today I check via PortableApps for updates and when I saw Opera updated to 42.0.2393.517 I accepted and hit Next.
All ran smoothly, as usual, and the update installed.
I started Opera (OperaPortable.exe) and checked the About page and immediately Opera contacted home (37.228.108.171) and the version line said that I must restart - "Restart Opera to update to version 43.0.2442.806" with the button behind "Relaunch Now"

After I've done that my version is now 43.0.2442.806 (PGO)
Is it normal for a PortableApps application to be updated in this manner? I thought updates must be via PortableApps only?

Opera is running fine and all extansions in tact, no problems.

Launcher Generator

I have downloaded and installed Soda PDF 3D Reader (which has a page turning feature) on my online laptop, but I am unable to install it on my offline desktop with its larger screen because the installation process accesses the internet.
I am looking at making Soda PDF portable and so I installed Launcher and NSIS, but I am totally confused.
Firstly, can I be quite clear that Launcher will do what I want?
If so, I fell at the first hurdle.
When I start Launcher and tell it where the program is I get the following message:
ERROR: C:\Program Files (x86)\SodaPDF3DReader\App\AppInfo\appinfo.ini doesn't exist!
Does this mean that Launcher will only handle PortableApps programs, ie programs that are already portable?
Surely there has to be a way to make Soda PDF portable?

GnuCash Terminates Instantly on Windows 7

Updating to Version 2.6.14 (according to portableapps.com) results in not being able to start GnuCash on Windows 7. I have both a 32bit and 64bit computer running W7 and get the same result on both computers. Also, tried running as administrator but same result. When trying to launch the program a window is briefly displayed which closes immediately.

Marble fails to start

Suddenly Marble has decided that it wouldn't start. I get a message saying:
"This application failed to start because it could not find or load the Qt platform plugin "windows"
It suggests to reinstall the apps, which I did. But it still gives me the same message.
I'm running Win 10 with the latest patches.

Unable to launch Notepad++ after RDP reboot

I've been using Notepad++ Portable on a Windows server at work that I connect to via RDP. There were some issues with the server and they rebooted the machine without warning us, so Notepad++ Portable was running when the reboot occurred. Now, when I reconnect and try to run Notepad++ Portable, it get the error "Another instance of Notepad++ is already running. Please close other instances of Notepad++ before launching Notepad++ Portable."

There are no instances of Notepad++ running on the server; it's just been rebooted (and I've checked the processes tab of Task Manager to be sure). I've tried re-downloading Notepad++ Portable and running from the new download and I get the same message.

Google Chrome 51.0.2704.84 is EULA.txt wrong location

In the help file for Google Crome 51.0.2704.84, there is a line that says "Installer and launcher licensed under GPLv2. More License Info."

The text "More License Info" redirects to "file:///P:/PortableApps/GoogleChromePortable/Other/Source/EULA.txt" where P is the letter of the drive where PortableApps is installed. Because this file is missing, Firefox gives the error
"Firefox can't find the file at /P:/PortableApps/GoogleChromePortable/Other/Source/EULA.txt."

Should this EULA be included or should the link be removed?
